Introduction

Hi, I'm Lachlan and I am trying to create a website for the year 10 basketball competition.

Rule Changes

In this section Their will be a list of rule changes from normal 5v5

Rules To Follow

  1. Fouls as normal basketball
  2. Points as normal 2s and 3s
  3. 2 7-minute halves with a 1-minute half time
  4. If a team needs an extra player the board will choose the player
  5. If a team has 5 fouls in a half a free throw will be awarded with possession after
  6. Must take the ball past the 3pt line
  7. 1 umpire, 1 scorer per court
  8. Tech fouls of for the rest of the game
  9. Loser's ball
  10. 3 personal fouls off for 5 minutes
  11. Every player must play at least 4 minutes per game
  12. To switch from defense to offense you must pass the 3-point line
  13. 4 players on the court for each team
  14. If a player is missing the board will allocate a member to fill in from the duty team
